Attention, travelers! A critical TSA requirement is on the horizon and we want to make sure you’re prepared.

REAL ID Compliance – What You Need to Know

Starting May 7, 2025, all travelers must have a REAL ID-compliant form of identification to pass through TSA security checkpoints for domestic flights.

How to Identify a REAL ID

A REAL ID compliant driver’s license or identification card will feature a specific marking – most commonly a star in the upper portion of the card. This symbol indicates that the ID meets federal security standards set by the REAL ID Act.

Avoid Travel Disruptions

As a professional vacation planner, I highly recommend checking your ID now to ensure it complies with this new regulation. If it doesn’t, visit your state’s DMV website for guidance on obtaining a REAL ID before your next trip.
